Digsites can be discovered by following along the events of the cantina tales. What you get depends first if the event "Discorvery of a new World" happens or something else. Then it depends on what planet types are within the borders of a players empire as digsites in the Star Wars Fallen Republic Mod are unique. Digsites are where a player can gain Relics.
In Multiplayer this is especially something to look out for, as the first to get the digsite gets its rewards.
