== The Tyranid Swarm == === Overview === The Tyranid swarm have access to a number of creatures that will make your like a misery. Their basic troops are relatively weak however come in large numbers however they reproduce quickly. Although Tyranid Warriors are able to go toe to toe with even the largest of Imperial Guard Regiments. Tyranids also have access to bio-titans which are more that a match for imperial titans. Even the most experienced players may face a challenge when facing the swarm. === Lore === Tyranids where first encountered in the 41st millennium by the imperium of man. Names after the planet they were first discovered on Tyran. Three hive fleets have entered the galaxy since first contact each causing widespread death and leave hundreds of worlds lifeless. The swarm have an endless number troops to throw at their opponents. From Hormagaunts to Hierophants they form an endless wave of destruction. Tyranid armies are connected by synapse creatures making them extremely deadly. Be prepared when facing the Tyranids. === Armies === All require the Assault Armies Technology. These units are the bread and butter of the swarm. with the combination of extremely cheap costs and low maintenance fees it means worlds are usually overrun by tyranid armies in a matter of days ==== Genestealer ==== These creatures are armed only with razor sharp claws and specialise in ambush tactics. class - Assault Army stats - damage = 2.00 health = 10.00 morale = 2.00 time = 60d to build maintenance = 0.38 minerals cost = 80 minerals ==== Gargoyle ==== These flying Tyranids fill the skies ripping their enemies skins class - Assault Army stats - damage = 0.70 health = 10.00 morale = 1.00 time = 40d to build maintenance = 0.10 minerals cost = 30 minerals ==== Hormagaunt ==== The basic infantry of the swarm. class - Assault Army Stats - damage = 1.00 health = 15.00 morale = 20.00 time = 40d to build maintenance = 0.33 minerals cost = 40 minerals ==== Tyranid Warrior ==== Large Tyranid creatures who tear through enemy lines causing death and confusion. class - Monserotous Assault Army stats - damage = 1.80 health = 10.10 morale = 1.90 time = 40d to build maintenance = 0.30 minerals cost = 40 minerals ==== Lictor ==== This creature takes soldiers unaware and leaves no one alive. requires XV25 Recruitment(will be fixed) class - Monstrous Stealth Assault Army stats - damage = 0.50 health = 2.00 morale = 0.50 time = 40d to build maintenance = 0.10 minerals cost = 40 minerals ==== Swarmlord ==== One of the most dangerous creatures the swarm can field. Requires XV88 Recruitment(will be fixed) Class - Monstrous Assault Army stats = damage = 0.60 health = 2.50 morale = 0.60 time = 40d to build maintenance = 0.10 minerals cost = 40 minerals ==== Exocrine ==== Large, dangerous and likes to get its claws bloody Requires XV104 recruitment(will be fixed) class - Monstrous Assault Army stats - damage = 0.80 health = 3.00 morale = 0.80 time = 40d to build maintenance = 0.10 minerals cost = 40 minerals ==== Hive Tyrant ==== The leader of the swarms invasions. extremely tough and dangerous. Class - Monster Requires Hammerhead recruitment(will be fixed) stats - damage = 0.10 health = 2.00 morale = 0.10 time = 40d to build maintenance = 0.10 minerals cost = 40 minerals === Tyranid Bio-Titans === Require the gene seed purification technology. Tyranid Bio-Titans are extremely tough and adaptive. Way more powerful than imperial titans the only way to beat them is through vastly superior numbers and firepower. These gigantic creatures and created to eliminate strongpoints on planets and take enormous amounts of bio matter to create. They are some of the strongest creatures in the galaxy ==== Harridan ==== Large and extremely dangerous class - Bio-Titian stats damage = 6.50 health = 30.50 morale = 6.50 time = 1000d to build maintenance = 3.00 minerals cost - 1800 minerals ==== Hierodule ==== One of the largest Tyranids around class - Bio-Titan stats - damage = 8.50 health = 40.50 morale = 8.50 time = 1800d to build maintenance = 5.00 minerals cost = 2500 minerals ==== Dominatrix ==== The name says it all. Not to be confused with another type of Dominatrix. class - Bio-Titan stats - damage = 11.50 health = 50.50 morale = 11.50 time = 2000d to build maintenance = 7.00 minerals cost = 3000 minerals ==== Hierophant ==== The largest Tyranid in the swarm.
